About Dr See Tho

Dr See Tho Kai Yin

Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
MBBS (Singapore), FRCOG (UK), FAMS

From obtaining his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) in 1969, to attaining Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists (FRCOG, United Kingdom), to setting up his own practice since 1978—Dr See Tho is a doctor who is truly devoted to his craft and to the care of women’s reproductive health.

Over the years, he found himself maintaining an active interest in the field of laparoscopic treatments of gynaecological issues, including fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, ectopic pregnancies and more.

He has since further narrowed his focus to the specialized care of urinary incontinence in women and womb prolapse, both of which are often caused or exacerbated by pregnancy and childbirth--milestones that he is only all too familiar with after five decades caring for pregnant and postpartum women.

Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin, Dr See Tho is currently a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and a former President of the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Singapore.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren.
